FAQ for UIC-09, ATC-09, Symposia and Workshops

1. What's the registration rule?

Every accepted paper must have registration in order to be ensure the paper to be included into the conference proceeding. Each author has to indicate the conference/workshop name and the paper id in the registration form.

2. What is included in the registration fee?

The conference registration fee includes the attendance of all conferences and workshops/symposia sessions, proceedings, conference dinner, and coffee breaks and lunches during the conference.

3. My two papers are accepted. Can I make only one registration to cover the two papers?

According to the registration rule, every accepted paper must have a registration. However there is a discount for registering the second and following papers if the papers are presented by the same author and co-authors are not attending the conference. The discount registration does not include the conference dinner, and coffee breaks and lunches.

4. I did not submit papers to the conference. But I still want to attend the conference. How can I do it?

You are welcome to participate in the conference. The registration form has a “non-author” delegate type.

5. Is the registration fee the net amount we have to pay?

No. If you are using bank transfer the bank may deduct some charges, which are not included in the registration fee and you need to pay this transfer charges separately.

6. Can I get an official invitation letter?

Yes, we will mail or fax an official invitation letter to registered authors upon a request. If you need the invitation letter, please register first, and then email the General Chair your request including information about your paper (which conference/symposium, paper id, authors, title) and affiliation, postal address and fax number.

7. What format should I use for the final version of my paper?

The UIC-09 and ATC-09 papers should have the LNCS format. The papers accepted for Symposia and workshops will be published by IEEE and should have the IEEE format. Check the Camera Ready link on this website for links to the required formats.

The UIC/ATC authors will receive an invitation from Easychair to submit the final version. The authors of the symposia/workshop papers will receive an email with information where to submit the final version.
